Training and Mentoring

Conical works with clients to identify needs and devise training programmes that enhance general marketing and business development skills. This client-specific approach ensures that the course content is relevant to the working environment of those who take part in the programme. At a senior level marketing & business development mentoring is also attractive to some clients, especially in the professional service market where fee earners are often responsible for departmental marketing and business development plans.

Conical is able to secure CPD points for course members. Conical is accredited by the Law Society to provide CPD training for lawyers and also provides marketing related training for accountants, consultants, architects, IFA’s and other professional service businesses.

Most courses are led by Stephen Bedford who is an occasional Course Director with the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM).

Conical regularly delivers courses in the following areas:

• Facilitation of Partner / Director level strategic planning sessions
• Marketing planning. For small businesses this can be run with the senior team with the outcomes providing the basis for a business wide or departmental marketing plan
