Steve B

Director & specialist in marketing strategy

Set up the business over 10 years ago. Has held Director roles at two FTSE businesses. A Fellow and Course Director for the CIM, he has judged the UK’s Marketing Excellence Awards. Worked internationally, has handled the marketing aspects of a major buy-out in the US.

Former rugby player, sailor & occasional musician.


Creative Director

Adam has held roles at both agency and client side having been a Senior Designer at the Science Museum before joining Conical. Creates striking design for digital and print including web site concepts. Wonderfully productive and creative.

Footie fan with a dry sense of humour.

Head of Digital Marketing

Steve joined us from the Academic world where he taught and researched Digital Marketing. Previously he gained experience in house working for a variety of tech startups handling Digital campaigns. Incredibly scientific in his approach, is happiest when analysing data.

Mixed Martial Arts fighter and enthusiast.


Account Director

Liz is a highly experienced and long standing member of the Conical team. She has held senior marketing roles with some of the largest brands in the UK and is formerly Head of Marketing for Legal and General Investment Management. A CIM Chartered Marketer. with excellent organisational skills.

Occasional runner – with and without her dog!


Account Manager

Jo has been with Conical pretty much from the start. Incredibly organised account manager and happy to ‘tell it as it is’. Wonderfully pragmatic with an eye for detail. Understands the realities of running a professional service business full of diverse characters.

An increasingly effective golfer.


Account Manager

Tom joined us from a major publishing sector body where he looked after a portfolio of marketing communications functions both digitally and in print. In his first marketing agency role but spending lots of his time on-site with clients – doing rather than advising.

Former physio he likes his sport.

Extended Support

Marketing agencies are a bit like builders – we call in specialist trades and extra self- employed staff as we need them. Many agencies show them on their web site to give an impression of size, that’s not our style. We do however have very strong links to specialist web programmers, advertising buying bodies, SEO ‘geeks’ and regularly use freelance designers. Most of these people we have known for many years.
